another busy week...

It was another busy busy week... here are a few of the captured "moments" that kept us on the go! Literally EVERY DAY is busy... here's just a glimpse!
** With all the different videos attached... you might want to pause the PLAYLIST music down at the bottom of our page!
Tuesday Night - April 22nd -
Morgan is in the school choir & the "GATOR SINGERS" performed their Spring Concert!

Song - "FIREFLY"

Our awesome Music . Choir Teachers -
Mrs. Deborah Moore & Mrs. Nancy Cole

Wednesday - April 23rd -
Mia found her INNER ARTIST... and was all about drawing & discovery. She is growing so fast... it amazes me how quickly little babies grow and learn in their first year! She's walking more confidently and falling less. Sleeping well through the night and continues to take 2 good naps in the day.... even while on the go! Mia is showing so much LOVE for her dog Bella... just like Daniella did when she was this age! So glad Bella continues to have patience in her older years. Such a good dog!

The kids started a new GOLF Session with Coach Perry Green. This time Daniella decided to join the boys and see what golfing is all about! It kinda was a last minute decision to add her into the mix - she seems to enjoy it. It also helps that there are other girls in the class. I love that she's always willing to try new things without hesitation!
Mia was walking all over the golf course - it's only Day 3 of really finding her balance & she's getting better & better - PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE... she must be so sore from falling all day!

Thursday - April 24th - HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY, MORGAN!
6:15am - singing Happy B'day to Mo w/ Daddy before he leaves for work
watch Mia dancing as we sing... silly girl LOVES to dance - just like her big brother Ryan!! She has this great shoulder twisting action that is so cute to watch!

9:15am - 1:30pm CYPRESS GARDEN FIELD TRIP WITH RYAN
I love being able to go on my kids Field Trips! (** Thanks to Sarah - who watches Mia) Today I helped chaperone in Ryan's 2nd grade class. He picked two of his BEST friends to be in our group - Holly & Jaquan. We had a GREAT time exploring CYPRESS GARDENS. It was a beautiful & breezy sunny day... the weather was perfect and the kids were so well behaved!

We got to ride on the boats and we saw LOTS of turtles & even a baby alligator amongst all the lily pads and cypress trees! I loved that I got to get a good work out rowing the kids in & out of the trees... I only hit a couple trees and we didn't flip or sink - so that's good!

Mrs. Melissa McCollum - is Ryan's incredible & amazing 2nd grade teacher! I've watched her in the classroom & seen her in action and WOW - talk about a great teacher... we are so blessed to have Ryan in her classroom this year!

2 - 3pm - PIZZA PARTY
After the field trip with Ryan... I headed over to the school to help out with the GATOR SINGERS year end Pizza Party! Mrs. Moore even played the piano & had everyone sing "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MORGAN"

... girls singing, "... little Sally Walker, walking down the street..."
after Choir... we headed straight for Daniella's Gymnastic Class at 3:45 - 4:30pm... and then straight to Mia's Water baby class at 6-6:30pm -A VERY LONG but VERY FUN Thursday!

Friday - April 25th -
11am - 3pm - The Charleston Air Force Base had Military Day for the Thunder Birds Air Show - so I decided to take the kids out of school early to enjoy the awesome day planned! It was so much fun being able to spend some time together with friends! The best part was being able to get a "preview" of the show without having to deal with the crowds & traffic! Thanks Darcy for telling us about the event!
The kids enjoyed walking inside the aircrafts, jumping & sliding on the blow-ups & watching the Golden Knights & Thunderbirds perform. What a great day...

Morgan with his classmate - Matt & friends...

Mommy w/ her sweet girl - Daniella!

LOOK WHO FINALLLY WOKE UP! Thanks Jamie for giving Mia her silicone ear plugs... would you believe - Mia slept for almost 2 hours in her stroller while we were at the air show & continued to sleep even when the Thunderbirds were flying! LOVE THE EARPLUGS!

L to R: Our friends & neighbor- Jamie Herman & her daughter Giselle; Dot & Daniella & Our friends Kyra, Noah & Ms. Darcy Boykin

4-6pm... The kids 1st mini-Swim Meet
*WARNING: This is loud... I mean, I am loud on this video! I was very excited to "catch" Dani in the lead on her 1st Backstroke relay. I was busy feeding Mia a snack & talking to Will's mom... that I didn't even realize that Daniella was in this heat. We were all surprised to see Dani in the lead... as this is her first time swimming laps. Granted, this is the end of her 4 week "stroke class" - and WOW - what improvement!

I am so proud of the kids for trying their BEST and even though it was hard in the beginning because they're the "new kids" in the class - they stuck with it! BRAVO!

Daniella's group TEAM AUSTRALIA took the GOLD Medal! She was very excited!

Ms. Phoebe & her son Francisco are awesome & wonderful swim coaches... the kids had a BLAST with their Friday afternoon class... we plan on continuing on for next month, too!

Morgan's team - took the Silver Medal. Mo did the freestyle & even tried the butterfly stroke!

Will & Ryan - friends from 1st grade ; Ryan's team - TEAM USA, took the Bronze Medal. Ryan tried the freestyle, backstroke & noodle race!

Saturday - April 26th
James Island County Park.

Our Neighbor - Sarah joined us for the day and kept Dani company!

Taking a picture with my BIG TEN year old! Look how grown he looks? That's my baby!
We met up with our friends from church & had a fun day at James Island County Park. We ate hot dogspotato saladchips, sang Happy Birthday to Heidi, rode bikes, walked the trails, played in the playground and even ran through the splash zone! It was a perfect day of fun & outdoor play!
THE SPLASH ZONE WAS SOOOOOooooo MUCH FUN!

Mia LOVES Bella sooooo much! This is Mia's buddy!
The gang's all here - better late than never ... Ate Lili & Ate Nida & family...
