Here is a VERY telling photo! There are 5 boys & 4 girls in this golf session... I've noticed that THE BOYS are there to play, socialize & have fun! THE GIRLS... are there to listen & learn! Coach Perry is awesome because he is able to capture their attention and make the game of golf a FUN ONE! While still learning the fundamentals! Dani LOVES playing Golf with her big brothers!
Chipping contest... closest to the pin wins! Sink the shot & you get the money in the hole! Sometimes Coach Perry puts a $5 bill or even a $20 bill! Dani took 2nd place! GO GIRL!
Mia watching the class... she's still pretty unstable on her feet - falling a lot on the slight hill! It's so cute to see!
May 1st, 2008 - Mia walks to the bus stop!
6:50AM - This is the first time Mia walked down the street with her sister to say "Bye-Bye" to them on the bus! If you listen closely... you'll actually hear Mia say, "bye-bye" & see her wave!
... little Mia does not like clips, bows, bands or hats! She gets called a BOY or a HE a lot! If she could only wear the clips in her hair... maybe people will get the idea! She already has PINK shoes!!! As you can see... in most pictures - Mia is always around Bella - well, it's true - Bella follows Mia around too! It's so cute to watch!

Friday May 2nd - My friend Alex invited a few of her girlfriends over for an evening of Fun, FASHION PREVIEWS of CAbi - a Carol Anderson by invitation Spring Collection of Women's clothing! It was fun just being able to hang out with friends... eat, drink... and try on the different clothes!
The ladies at the CAbi show! At the end of the evening, after trying on all these clothes... Alex, her friend Grace & myself decided to challenge each other to LOSE TEN pounds by July 1st! And the rules are: If you don't lose the 10... you will fork out $100 to the pot of cash! If you do lose 10 lbs you take the money in the pot and either split it with the other successful LOSERS or keep it all to yourself (if you were the only LOSER). Our trio has now turned into ELEVEN "wanna-be" LOSERS! That now makes the pot a whole lot sweeter! The challenge is ON! I have lots to lose... so I'm excited! Alex & Grace, on the other hand are already tiny little things (see the other two Asian girls in the photo, yeah, the tiny ones - the size 4 & 6 girls! My question is... do they even have 10 lbs to lose at this point?)
Saturday - May 3rd - I helped chaperone 3 very well behaved kiddos for the GATEWAY field trip! We enjoyed walking around and seeing all that the Art Festival had to offer!

RYAN celebrates a MONTH EARLY!
Once a preemie- ALWAYS a preemie! Ryan's only request for his birthday this year was to PLEASE have his party while we were still in school! So we celebrated a month early.... Ryan LOVES all his friends and is not excited about leaving them when we move... so how could I say, "No"?
We had a GREAT turn out for his birthday at Music In Motion Skating rink! 22 kids & 3 adults skated, ate pizza, made sundaes, played arcade games... and some even got into the speed races! Ryan was thrilled to have won his first speed skating race... he was smart... he took the inside lane and also miraculously avoided a spill on the first corner!
I want to THANK all the parents that helped make the party a success... I LOVE that you were able to spend time with us with your kids and just have fun! Jennifer & Rena... I'm very impressed with your "skating abilities"... you were definitely showing the kids how to do it! Sarah Pirt... I'm so proud of you for trying and not falling! Daniella was so happy to help you around the rink! And I definitely saw LillianJeff Waters, Darcy Boykin & Michelle Reilly getting their work out around the rink, even without skates!

What a GREAT way to end Ryan's birthday party at Music in Motion by winning his first speed skating competition! Watch Ry take the inside lane like a pro... avoiding a spill on the first corner and taking on the BIGGER kids on the final turn! GO RYAN! He ended up winning a free token voucher for the arcade games!
Hugging my little man! To think he was only 2lbs 11oz when he was first born! We praise GOD for all HIS blessings in our lives... and Ryan truly is a blessing! We know that GOD has GREAT plans for Ryan and I just can't wait for it all to unfold!
What a FUN FUN day!!! Happy "early" Birthday, Ryan! Mommy & Daddy LOVE you very very much!

CINCO de MAYO FIESTA *

Mia watering her plants the morning of the FIESTA!
My wonderful hubby of 13 years is turning the BIG four-OH (no!) this month! We decided to have a FIESTA and also decided to celebrate Dale's birthday! We had a GREAT turn out! Approx: 22 adults and the kids totally out-numbered us with about 26 little feet wandering around!
... sorry this is a bit blurry... I think I got nervous watching all the candles on Dale's cake light up into ONE big FLAME... shhheessshhh turning 40 & putting 40 candles on a cake proves to be a fire hazard!
The Reilly girls look so authentic! Mitch, Happy Birthday to you, too!!!
cupcakes & carrot cake w/ cream cheese frosting... YUM!
WE are so blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives... lasting friendships & great neighbors... we truly are blessed just knowing YOU! Thanks for sharing your time with us through the 3 years that we've lived here... thanks for the gifts for Dale & the gift of your friendship!!! It's priceless!
My boys & sweet Bella girl!
