Swim Practices start at 7:30am and goes to 8:45am~ at our neighborhood pool. Nice way to wake up in the morning! It's been hot hot hot here in SC... after our 70 degree cool weather in California... coming to 90's with high humidty was a shocker!!! I guess we have to get used to hot weather since Guam will be HOT HOT HOT!
This is the kids first year to swim on a swim team and I'm so happy that they are swimming laps and having fun while staying fit! Our TEAM uniforms arrived right on time before their first AWAY Swim Meet!!! I even iron-on a graphic for Mia to wear on her onesie!
HAPPY 9th BIRTHDAY, Ryan!
The kids did great on their first meet! Ryan was the most expressive about his LOVE for swimming! He loves to perform and to compete! He certainly was in a zone last night and took home 3 1st place ribbons for the boys team relay, 25 m butterfly & 25 m breast stroke.... and a 2nd place for the mixed relay race. To think this little kid was a preemie 9 years ago... hooked up to monitors and wires and his lungs barely developed and weighing only 2 pounds 11 ounces! We praise GOD for his good health! WE often joke around that Ryan may have gotten too much oxygen while he was in the NICU because he is one fast & speedy kid! I love love love his little spirit and how much he embraces LIFE!!!
