Our family went to California for my cousin - Jennifer (Ranchez) & Rob's wedding. The kids were excited to get out of school 5 days early!! The best part about this trip is that we were able to visit and enjoy time with family & friends...

It's hard to believe that we lost contact with Tammy (Boemke)... and almost 13 years later we find ourselves at the same little Cradle Roll for the kids! What a GREAT surprise! Tammy's twin boys Deacon & Derek with their little cousin & Aunt.

We enjoyed our day in Santa Barbara playing at the beach, swimming in the pool and walking around in the shopping area... the weather was PERFECT & absolutely gorgeous!

Tuesday - June 3rd, 2008 -

Later in the evening - we drove down to Dale's sisters place in Los Angeles. Jake & Evelyn's backyard is filled with fruit bearing trees... my kids LOVE picking the lemon's every time they visit and make fresh squeezed lemonade! They also have an orange tree, an avocado tree and Grapes!

Wednesday - June 4th, 2008

Evelyn took the day off to come hang out with us!

... the kids played... we ate lunch and got to visit with Tammy, our long-lost friend!

Later that day, we drove to Redlands and enjoyed watching the kids at XRTainment Zone. We met up with one of my (Dot's) friends - Kim (Medina) Knowlton! The kids LOVED all the interactive games and Wii systems & eye-toys. A great work out while still playing!

One of the local news companies were there filming and so I'm not sure if Morgan will actually be in that segment!

Friends came out to visit while we were at XRTainment... like Lily (Chung) and Ruthie (Feralino).

We spent the night (& did laundry - thanks guys) at Shani & Byron & Matthew's house in Redlands!

Their little cousin Matthew LOVES Golf, B-Ball & Thomas the Train!!!

Pool . Tennis court . Jump Castle . Basketball . Golf! The kids were having such a blast - they didn't want to leave!

Byron is now a Orthodontist... and brought us to his office to see the beautiful JUNGLE Theme!

Thursday - June 5th - San Diego, CA!

Thanks Arnel for getting everyone together for Dinner at Panda Inn!

I haven't seen my old roomie & friend - "Esmy" in over 15 years! She came out to eat with us and I got to see her 6 month pregnant as well as her gorgeous condo in Downtown San Diego!

Friday - June 6th, 2008 - San Diego, CA - Children's Museum

We met up with Marvin & Rhea Pantangco & family... here is Marvin begging Rhea to have ONE more baby!!!

... lunch at the Pantangco's was a GREAT idea - so the kids could play and run around and have fun!

A SAN DIEGO REUNION @ Todd & Meha Ewing's home

in Loma Linda, California.

This was definitely PARTY CENTRAL! The kids had so much fun in their backyard swimming, basketball, hot tub, fire pit! There was TONS and TONS of food (thanks Boom, Gemma & Jojo & eveyone that helped cook)... Thanks Meha & Todd for opening up your home for us!

Finally... our last stop was a quick visit with my Auntie Lily (Pan) Diehl on our way out of Loma Linda... and on to the airport to fly home. Auntie Lily was even able to give our kids a little piano lesson with instruction and tips!

... It was definitely a WONDERFUL trip... full of family & friends and fun! So glad that we were able to enjoy our time together as a family!
